Description
Toronto Brown is a North Indian calcitic marble whose chocolate-to-coffee brown base — coloured by iron and clay mineral inclusions within the parent limestone during metamorphism — carries a network of off-white, beige, and faint gold veins that drift across the surface in an irregular, non-repeating arrangement, ensuring each slab presents a distinct face. Its warm, deeply earthen palette fills a specific gap in the brown marble category: richer and darker than beige stones, yet considerably softer in visual weight than black or near-black varieties, making it equally workable in both light-toned and dark-toned interior schemes.
