Indian Aurora is a Precambrian migmatite — technically a metamorphic rock — whose red-grey-black palette and broad fan-shaped veining set it apart from conventional uniform granites. Its most striking characteristic is the red-black colour combination paired with wave-like patterning, which gives large-format installations a strong directional energy that responds visibly to light. Quarried in block form from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it processes well across polished, flamed, and leathered finishes, each of which reveals a different dimension of its layered mineral depth.
